Located 4 miles north of downtown Whitefish and just 5 miles from the ski resort of Whitefish Mountain, Dreaming Bear Lodge will spoil you in every way.

At almost 5,000 sf, this luxurious 4bdm, 3-1/2 bath private estate comes complete with a chef’s dream gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances, a greatroom with river rock wood burning fireplace and soaring 24′ windows with breathtaking mountain and valley views, a master suite with sitting area, and a master bath with both a soaking tub and a glass wall shower. Downstairs you’ll find a workout area with weights and a treadmill, as well as your own private soundproof movie theater, complete with a popcorn machine!

Outside, enjoy star gazing from a your own private, brand new hot tub and deck overlooking the adjacent woods, or relax with a glass of wine while barbecuing on the upper deck. As our home and beautifully landscaped lawn is adjacent to several hundred wooded acres, we are blessed with an abundance of wildlife. White tail deer, elk, and even an occasional bear or moose visit Dreaming Bear Lodge.

Summer days are spent hiking from the house on miles of trails connecting to Whitefish Mountain, horseback riding at an area ranch, exploring nearby Glacier National Park just 15 miles away, whitewater rafting, or taking a refreshing dip in Whitefish Lake, just 2 miles away. A waterski boat is available for an additional cost- just ask us for the details. Ziplining and racing on the Alpine Slide are also available a few miles away.

During the winter months Montana is simply magical, as you’ll literally step into a Currier and Ives postcard. After sledding, skiing, snowshoeing or sleigh riding, you’ll be warm and toasty with the glow of the fireplace, radiant heat floors throughout the lodge and snuggly down comforters on all of the beds. Nothing beats watching the falling snow melt as it hits the steam, while soaking in the hot tub as the jets melt away the last remnants of stress. Folks tell us they sleep better here than they’ve ever slept before.

If you need to stay connected, you’ll have high-speed wireless Internet throughout the lodge, decks, and even the hot tub. :)

For those that want to be pampered in every way, we’re happy to help you book a massage complete with essential oils, in the comfort of your own home. Additionally, we have a gourmet chef and a sous chef available for special occasions or for catering, and we can help you coordinate the details.
